Prior to tip off, players, coaches and fans observed 24 seconds of silence to honor the lives of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, John, Keri & Alyssa Altobelli, Peyton & Sarah Chester, Christina Mauser &  Ara Zobayan. . As a way to honor Kobe, PHS Varsity basketball athletes wore Black Mamba t-shirts during their pregame warm up and fans and athletes received Lakers gold & purple rally towels.
