San Juan Capistrano, CA — Todays match went as expected, we were paired with South Pasadena, a 3rd place team in round one. The Lions singles girls picked up 7 sets and our duos matched that total. 3-set sweepers were Jenna Lee and also, Gabbi Basa with Sophia Moncur. Taylor was subbed out in the 3rd round or she would have picked up an extra set. It was a nice fair match, no umpires needed, which is a nice feather in the cap. Gabbi and Sophie were able to best the Tigers line 1 doubles, in the last round, which was an upset win. Los Alamitos got by at Sage Hill in easy fashion, so, we will travel to Los Al Friday for a 2 pm start It's going to be warm up there, start hydrating now.
