El Cajon, CA — Game #4 vs. Classical Academy kicked off the last day of this tournament for our boys in San Diego. Started off rocky with Sean Hill entering the starting line up – after the whistle blew at the start! Sean earned a front row seat to watch the game…from the bench. Lions = teachable moment, opponents = 5m opportunity (see what happens)... Scoring for the Lions were: Lochie Treister - 3 goals, 1 steal Johann Thrall – 3 goals, 1 assist Stephen Partsch- 2 goals, 2 assists, 1 steal Conor Brough - 1 goal, 3 assists, 3 steals Gabe Guinane – 1 goal, 2 assists, 2 steals Seamus Neppl – 1 goal Conor Brough & Gabe Guinane led the team in steals, while Conor, Lochie, Steve and Seamus all drew 5m exclusions! Way to go, boys! Defending our goal, Jeffrey Muller shut down our opponents with 8 solid blocks. Remember that 5m at the start? He blocked that one too! Jack Helfer wrapped up the last ½ of this game but didn’t see much of the ball this half with a strong defense taking care of business. And, speaking of business... *Still missing #10 Jason Pieracci (BIG BUSINESS) in the tank, but he can be seen on deck with his team, filming the game and healing for the games around the corner.
