Game MVP

Juliana, starting at #3 singles this afternoon, defeated both the #2 & #3 players from Rosary. Her opening set was a back and forth set, well played, in which she came out in front: 6-4. Because this was her first start at singles in a Trinity League match and win 100% of sets played, Juliana is being named our singles MVP player of the match. Well done !😀🎾👍

Kano, starting her first Trinity League match, teamed with Waka Amano to win all 3 sets played today - earning her MVP honors😀

Kira Burke’s regular partner, Anna, played singles - so Kira teamed with her St. Edward’s pal Maddie Northway, who volunteered to step up from the Frosh Soph team today, keeping us from forfeiting 3 sets. Maddie and Kira came from behind vs Rosary’s #1 team (they were down 3-5 and won FOUR straight games to close the set out at 7-5! Great effort👍😀

Madison stepped up from Frosh Soph to fill in so we wouldn’t be short handed today. A bit nervous at first, Maddie finally got into the serving groove with her new racquet. She and Kira came from behind to beat Rosary’s #1 team (they were down 3-5 and won FOUR straight games to close the set out at 7-5! Great effort👍😀
