San Juan Capistrano, CA — Our #1 and #2 singles players, Elise Early and Sophia Moncur swept all 6 sets of singles between them today with excellent match play by both. Grace Hoover stepped up to get an additional singles victory, which was 7 wins by our singles players. Well done. Breanna Ursetta and Mia Carpino defeated their #3 doubles team 6-2 as did Sarah Lacson and Juliana Calo. Sarah and Juliana came "off the bench" to win this critical 3rd round set for JSerra, preserving our victory on game count. All players from Squad "A" got into the match today none got "zero'd"...every game counts when the score ends up 9 - 9! We lost 3 tough tie-breakers this afternoon, all in doubles.
