Fullerton, CA — Varsity tennis got their 2nd Trinity League victory over Rosary 13 - 5. The Lions' started out with 4 starters out [who stayed in their 6th period classes] jumped out to a 5 - 1 lead and never looked back. After a 5 -1 sweep of round two, giving a 10 - 2 lead, Coach Kirk subbed out entire singles group, resulting in the 13 - 5 victory. Emma Lentz recorded a Trinity League win in doubles with Claire, as did Lily Sanchez with Emma Johnson. Natalie Barrios triumphed in a 6 - 0 singles win in the third round. Hailey Moncur, off of the injured reserve list and serving underhand, recorded a third round doubles win with Olivia. "EVERYONE was an MVP today" said coach. Go Lions!
