Only won 1 set , BUT, it's the scenario we practice all the time.... "It's the last set vs SM, we are winning 9 - 8, BUT, if you lose , for a 9-9 tie, we lose on game count!. You need to win the set outright!!! Yes, Lex & Lily were out there with everyone watching....and pulled it out 7 - 5.

Jenna Lee

Sweeps 3 sets rather easily vs. her old team for some sweet revenge. Jenna has been awesome in helping her teammates get ready for this match. Great leadership...she was/has been relentless in this quest for revenge! Demolished SM's top player 6 - 2.

Taylor Barnes

Comes from behind, trailing in first match 1-4 to secure a point in the opening round. Then she comes from behind in her final set to defeat SM's #1 player as well.. 6 -3... Also, a 3 set sweeper today!

Lily Sheybani

Lily's down the line winners were amazing! SM knew they were coming, but, couldn't stop them! Lily's onslaught started when they were down 1-4 in the deciding last set...they were relentless!

Katie Golbranson

Katie with Claire swept 2 sets, dropping only a close one to SM's #1 team...Katie was sick all day and played valiantly. Claire's down the line shots were awesome as were her put aways... she has not registerd on Blast, so, the program can't list her manually. Great job

Winner Winner Eagle dinner!

San Juan Capistrano, CA — Wow! Coach Kirk circles one date on his calendar every year, the 1st girls match vs Santa Margarita. This years circle was a little early in the season, which was bothersome, but that can work both ways. Captain, Alexa Taba vetoed the "No school, no practice" calling for a captain's practice Monday [school day off]. It paid off as the doubles fixed some big gaps in their games.
