San Juan Capistrano, CA — Opening round saw us down 2 - 4; came close to splitting (3-3) with Sophia Moncur playing over 1 hour for her first set. Kylie Davidson won first round singles, as did the doubles team of Grace Hoover with Aleah Edwards. Our other 2 set victories came in round # 3 with Anna Ciraci and Kira Burke winning their double match up on court 6. The final set of the match was an exciting tie-break win (7-6) by freshman Kylie Davidson against Aliso's #1 player. Kylie was the only person to defeat their #1 player and the only JSerra player today with 2 set wins. Well done. Next up: Friday, Sept. 13th at home vs. Mission Viejo (squads A & B)
