La Jolla, CA — Coaches Brett Ormsby and Drew Clute have wasted no time in preparation of the upcoming Boys Water Polo Season! Most recently, our boys met up for a scrimmage in La Jolla - they played strong, but who was keeping score anyway? (19-6 Lions) Had we been keeping score, it would have looked something like this: Scoring for the Lions were: Stephen Partsch- 5 goals, 2 assists,1 steal Conor Brough -4 goals, 1 assist Lochie Treister - 3 goals, 1 steal Johann Thrall - 3 goals,1 assist Drew Vangrin - 2 goals Waylon Fox, Sean Hill and Jason Pieracci - each scored 1 goal Gabe Guinane with 2 assists, 1 steal Sean Hill, won every sprint We’re keeping an eye on Alex Pezold and awaiting Nate Gannaway’s CIF sitout period to come to an end 9/27.
