A Victory at our First Home Game
Fury 06G won 3-1 in a hard fought battle against Rancho Cucamonga, who are well known for having good teams. We were 0-0 at the half. Stephanie had the first goal of the game, smashing it into the back of the net. Shortly after, Janett put in a beautiful long shot from deep in the right corner leaving their keeper no chance of saving it. Rancho picked up a goal from a Fury miscommunication as they dribbled through a knot of defenders and put it past our keeper, Avery. Our lead was increased when Bella was knocked down in the box earning us a PK. Jackie took the kick, which was deflected, but Amslee was quick to sprint in and pop it into the upper far corner of the goal.
