JSerra vs Mira Costa
The Mira Costa starting pitcher #10 held the JSerra offense to no score for the first two innings. In the top of the third with the bases loaded JSerra #23 hit a hard ground ball to the second baseman. Mira Costa got the out at second but overthrew the first baseman attempting a double play and allowing two runs to score. In the top of the sixth the mustangs brought in #19 to finish out the game after a solid performance by #10. The lions starting pitcher #14 held Mira Costa to no score all the way into the bottom of the sixth and then was taken out. JSerra then brought in #22 who gave up three runs off of several good hits from the mustang’s offense. JSerra then brought in #27 to finish out the inning. The game ended with a 3-2 win for Mira Costa after JSerra failed to score in the top of the seventh.
