San Juan Capistrano, CA — Squeezed a fun match in between rain storms. Despite the lopsided final score, there were some close sets and great efforts today. Kudos to MVP Nicholas Keenan who won 2 of 3 sets of singles today. He played especially well in the opening round defeating their #1 player 6-5. MVP Brian Chi picked up a singles win; along with a doubles victory by MVP’s Jonathan Goodwin and Dash Li. Jonathan and Dash also lost a tough opening round tie-break set against their #1 doubles team. We only had 9 players today, so everybody got to play 3 sets today! Next up: Thursday, March 7th at Portola, 3pm. (This match was originally scheduled at home; switched to away to accommodate JV rescheduled match at home vs SMCHS.)
