San Juan Capistrano, CA — From zero to hero: one day after suffering a humiliating defeat 2-16 vs Mater Dei, JSerra’s JV tennis team avenged that loss with a 9-9, 75-70 game count win this afternoon! A total team effort, we are naming everybody who played as MVP’s because every game counted. Michael Petilli had an opening round win in singles at line #2. Kooper Glick and Luke Conniff also had wins against MD’s #2 player. Miles McClain and Justin Que won 2 of 3 sets in doubles; forced a tie-breaker set after being down 3-5 in the 3rd round. With the match on the line, Noah Nguyen and Daniel Pasha win a tough 7-5 victory, giving us our 9th set win. Well done gentlemen👍🎾 Next up: at Santa Margarita this Thursday, 3pm.
