Kailob Haag set the tone early on the mound getting out of a second and third jam in the second inning unscathed. Haag finished the game going 6 2/3 innings while giving up no runs and being the game MVP.
Heading into the top of the 6th tied 0-0 Michael Fellikian led off with a bunt single and eventually scored the first run of the game on a double steal. Omar Padilla padded the lead with a Sacrifice Fly scoring Adam Oliden.
Ryan Mize helped Haag's cause behind the plate throwing two runners out and allowing 0 passed balls.
Ryan Perez ended the game recording the one out save with the tying run on first base.
