Anaheim, CA — Pioneer Titans Varsity wins contest against Magnolia, 4-2. In the first inning, the Titans got their offense started when Isaiah Montalvo's sac fly scored one run for Pioneer. Pioneer Titans Varsity scored three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from an error on a ball put in play by Xavier Cervantes and Druw Galindo. Matt Zepeda earned the win for Pioneer Titans Varsity. He surrendered two runs on three hits over six and a third innings, striking out 11. Mikey Amigon threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Amigon recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Pioneer. Amigon went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Pioneer in offense.
