Ontario, CA — Santa Fe won the final of the Ontario Christian Christmas Classic, beating the preciously unbeaten Ontario Christian High School 2-1 in over time. Ontario Christian struck first using their immense pace and physicality to beat the Chiefs defense down their left hand flank. The Chiefs equalized not long after as Louis Guardado tapped in a cross that was flicked on from Emilio Garcia. The back and forth game went into Golden Goal overtime where 5 minutes in Sean Romo closed down his defender and forced an error, then calmly clipped the goal over the keeper for the Tournament winner. Emilio Garcia and Jerry Chavez earned all tournament selections, while Danny Ruvalcaba was named tournament MVP.
