Phoenix, AZ — Sac High Lady Dragons went to Arizona and found itself in 2 games in which they started extremely slow and unable to get anything going. That changed this afternoon as Sac High jumped out early with hot shooting from RyAnne Walters and Andriana Avent to finally get in the win column in the Nike TOC. The Lady Dragons (6-2) went up 16-8 to start the game and took a 36-19 lead into halftime. In a game that featured 4 technical fouls and some extremely physical play, Sac kept its cool and led from start to finish against a much bigger and overly aggressive Wood team. Sac High is now 1-2 in Phoenix and heads into their last game in the desert with momentum in game 4.
