Newport Beach, CA — Sonora Raiders Varsity took the lead late and defeated Newport Harbor 4-2 on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with Sonora Raiders Varsity batting in the top of the eighth when Joey Flores singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Newport Harbor knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning. Clay Liolios singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
