Folsom, CA — Despite a big comeback from a 12 point deficit to take the lead late in the game, C.K. McClatchy fell to St. Francis 38-35 in the Championship at the Folsom-Vista Classic. St. Francis clinched their lead in on an offensive rebound and put-back under the basket in the final minute of the game. Athough the Lions had a solid finish, adding 12 points and taking the lead twice in the final quarter, it wasn't enough to complete the comeback. Kennis Jasperson led the charge for McClatchy’s offense, scoring 9 points in the game, with 6 points during the fourth quarter. Jasperson also contributed 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Also helping the effort for CKM were Lauren Shintaku (9 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal), Cara Ishisaka (7 points, 2 assists, 2 steals), Lauren Archuleta (4 points), Madaya Fletcher (4 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals), Alyssa Archuleta (2 points, 3 rebounds), Alyssa Yuke (2 rebounds, 2 steals), Aaliyah Pirkey (4 rebounds), and Aaliyah Boyd (1 rebound, 2 assists).
