Sacramento, CA — Although freshman guard Kennis Jasperson put 12 points on the scoreboard, including 5 points in the first 45 seconds of the game, C.K. McClatchy fell to St. Francis 40-34 in the Semi-Final game of the 2018 Jan Ichiho Tournament at Inderkum High School. With seven points, Jasperson saw her best shooting performance in the third period as CKM fought their way back from a 10-point deficit to get within 3 points in the final few minutes of the game. Lauren Shintaku hit two three-pointers and scored six points total. Also helping the effort for the Lions were Cara Ishisaka (9 points, 1 rebound) and Madaya Fletcher (4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal). Aaliyah Pirkey was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up five rebounds and one steal. CKM finished the game with 32 rebounds (10 offensive / 22 defensive) and five steals.
