Murrieta, CA — After a slow start, our guys kicked off a great evening with a 2nd half surge outscoring Palm Desert 47-26 in the last 16 minutes. Anthony Salek set a school record with 7 three pointers in the game (5 of them in the 4th quarter) to lead the dominating win. Senior Devin Fortune also had an overall nice statistical game with 17 points and 8 rebounds. The night was complete with all the support we had in the gym. As has been the case every year since I have been here, Penny Chidester had her dance team in top performance mode as they performed at halftime of the JV (I saw this one!) and Varsity game......she does a great job with them and although I am not skilled in all their dance moves, I can compare them to the four schools I have been at previously.....her teams are good👍👍 We also had multiple graduates attend the game......it is always great to see them come home for winter break and want to come back to their school!
