Whittier, CA — The Chiefs scored a goal in each half to defeat Whittier HS 2-0. Sean Romo opened the scoring with a fine shot into the upper left corner after Manuel Rodriguez found him with a nice pass through the middle. Goalkeeper Anthony Rodriguez made a superb one on one save to keep the score 1-0. Emilio Garcia scored late in the second half, tapping home a free kick by Danny Ruvalcaba.
