Lily Kitcher picked up a 2nd set win playing singles in as many days, she’s played 9 sets of singles in the last 3 matches. Thank you for stepping up - Ms. MVP - in these “regular” format competitions. No other singles sets were won, but kudos to Grace Helfer for playing 3 full sets of singles for the first time, just narrowly missing a win in a tight 2nd round tie-breaker. As well, thank you Aubrey Francisco for volunteering to play some singles this morning. JSerra girls did win the 2 other tie-breakers in doubles: MVP Honors to Ruthie Manasseh w/ Bridget Oushanayou; and Francesca Gajarsa w/ Ella Dietrich. Well done. MVP’r Ella won 2 sets today, only Lion to do so, as she teamed w/ Aubrey in the last round for a 5-1 win - earning Aubrey earn MVP status too! Next up: double header next Friday vs Crean Lutheran and Sage Hill.
