Huntington Beach, CA — JSerra scored best at the end vs Banning Pilots, this school has a weak team, but they were brave, competed hard, had fun and were polite and we were polite to them! All doubles and singles swept in this final match, in pretty quick fashion. It was good for Elliana/Chiara and Christina/Samantha to pick up W's at line 2 and 3, along with Peyton and Milana. All teams watched closely as Marina and Redondo finished their final match because there was going to be a 3-way tie for 1st place on our card/pool, we were rooting intensely for one of them! (You had to be there)! They tied 3-3 in sets, but Marina had 36 games total vs 35 for Redondo. EVERY GAME COUNTS!!! I cannot put MVPs in each game because BLAST wont mix Varsity/JV so here they are: vs Redondo = Peyton/Milana, Naomi, Ava and Dylan vs Marina = Ava and Dylan vs Banning = all the above PLUS Elliana/Chiara and Christina/Samantha REAL MVPs are our TEAM PARENTS!!! and FAMILIES !!!
