Huntington Beach, CA — Marina was a very formidable foe as usual. They swept our doubles teams, while Ava and Dylan captured solid victories at lines 2 and 3. As both teams watched intently, Naomi fought her way back from a 2-6 deficit to 6-7, hoping to get into a tiebreaker. Marina's girl bared down and took the last game for an 8-6 set win, 4-2 match win. Naomi played an awesome match, caught some unlucky breaks, this set could've swung either way. Lunch was ready right after this and the food and Suzie Cakes (THANK YOU Mr and Mrs Henderson) helped refuel the girls for their final match. Next up = Phineaus Banning High School of Wilmington!
