Pine Bush, NY — In a dominant 4-0 victory over Our Lady of Lourdes, the team showcased its strength and ability to control the game, particularly in the second half. After a scoreless first half, they turned up the intensity, netting two goals in both the third and fourth quarters. Senior Kailey Fobert had an outstanding performance, recording a hat trick. Her first goal was assisted by Jaslenne Ingenito, the second by Kara Wittenberg, and the third was unassisted. Wittenberg also added a goal of her own, scoring off a corner set up by inserter Leah O’Donnell. The defensive unit of Jordyn Wilson, Christine Omosebi, Emily Muro, and goalkeeper Grace Grant was impenetrable, limiting OLL to just two shots on goal. Their stellar defense, combined with the offensive outburst, was key to the team’s success. Before the game, the team celebrated Senior Night, honoring the contributions of the six senior athletes: Kailey Fobert, Christine Omosebi, Jordyn Wilson, Meaghan Wishinski, Leah O'Donnell, and Grace Grant. With the win, the team improves to 4-3 on the season and looks ahead to a league matchup against Pine Plains on Wednesday.
