San Mateo, CA — The San Mateo Bearcats (3-2, 1-1) earned their first league win of the season in a 20-13 victory over the Sequoia Ravens. Kayla Lichaa found the endzone three times through the air. The defense limited the Ravens’ opportunities throughout the night with Valentina Gomez Palacio coming up with a key interception. The Bearcats will look to keep the momentum going in their next game at South San Francisco High on September 16th.
