Valencia, CA — Week 2 was a tough loss for our Santa Clarita Warriors. Our boys were a bit intimidated by the size of a few of the Crossroads Tigers. Due to that we had issues with the Center / QB exchange all day. The Warriors turned the ball over 6 times to the Tigers 1. Our offense had a tough time getting started. With the issues getting the plays started, our Warriors were only able to run 5 plays all day. The offense was still led by Levi Bradshaw, despite coming down with illness during the first half of the game. Levi rushed for 119 yards on 5 carries, but coughed up the ball a few times himself. The Warriors showed their grit on the defensive side of the ball. Led by Dylan Fruchtman, who recorded 7 total tackles and 5 of which were tackles for loss, the warriors never gave up. They fought hard all the way through the last whistle and continued to show up all the way through the 4th quarter. Hayden Sjoberg continued adding highlights to his first season by recording 1 tackle for loss as well as a big hit that caused a forced fumble. Joseph Martinez showed off his instincts once again by casually recovering the fumble caused by Hayden. While it was tough to see what a defeat was like, the Warriors are in great spirits and are on to preparation for this week's game against the Ventura Packers. LETS GO WARRIORS!! - Coach Mike Fruchtman
