Village of Clarkston, MI — BY DOUG DONNELLY CLARKSTON – Mason DeBarr caught touchdown passes from Tre Eitniear and Drew Ruddy but three turnovers doomed the Bobcats against the undefeated Mountaineers. The Bobcats had two interceptions and lost a fumble. Everest Collegiate led 17-6 at halftime. After a scoreless third quarter, Ruddy hit DeBarr on a 74-yard touchdown pass to pull the Bobcats within 17-12, but the Mountaineers rebounded with a touchdown drive. Eitniear left the game with an ankle injury just before halftime. Ruddy had 107 yards passing and led the Bobcats with 81 yards rushing. DeBarr had a career-high 117 yards receiving. The 3-4 Bobcats are on the road at White Pigeon (7-0) Friday, Oct. 18.
