Ellie swept doubles with Scarlett. They fought off 3 set points at 4-5 vs Stallions best duo, coming back for a 7-5 victory. Neither girl was feeling well, but they stayed in for round 3 and added their third tally of the day. Good thing they stayed the course, we needed them.

Aerin teamed up with Brookelyn and also swept 3 sets, two of them were come-from-behind. Very solid consistent play from these two, who have never played together before: Aerin unleashing groundies from the back court with Brookelyn destroying people with her crunching volleys.

Ava played awesome today, the only singles player to pick up 2 sets for the Lions. Ava was able to upset San Juans #2 player, an Occidental commit, 6-3 in the opening round, which was a huge help in todays victory.
