Cooperstown, NY — By GameChanger Media Mason M hit two home runs and drove in three as CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown defeated Mighty Ducks MN 6-5 on Friday. Mason M homered in the fourth and second innings. CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown got on the board in the second inning after Mason M hit a solo home run to center field. A home run to center field by Ethyn gave Mighty Ducks MN the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third. CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown captured the lead, 5-3, in the bottom of the fourth after Henry S grounded out, and Mason M homered to center field, each scoring two runs. Mason M stepped on the hill first for CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Logan started the game for Mighty Ducks MN. They allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out six and walking two. Connor D and Cole M each appeared in relief for CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown. Peyton B paced CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Jake R and Cole M each stole multiple bases for CT Crushers 12U Cooperstown.
