Canonsburg, PA — After a tough battle versus top seeded Upper St Clair, the Lions start their three game road trip with a trip to reigning conference and WPIAL champion Peters Township Indians. The Indians are coming off of a bounce back win over Moon 23-14. This looks to be a defensive battle as both teams lead 5A in point given up with Peters Township giving up 65 points on the year and the Lions giving up 66. After Peters Township suffered its first loss the previous week to Upper Saint Clair 21-7, they found themselves in need of a big-time rebound. Peters Township (6-1, 1-1) rallied from a disappointing offensive showing in the first half to put up 16 unanswered second-half points to earn the victory.
