The game was tied at three in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run. Cypress 16u 2024 All Stars jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Makaela Tavares drew a walk, scoring one run, and Bailey Ingles scored after tagging up. Norwalk 16u All Stars tied the game in the top of the third thanks to a walk by Celeste Olide, a single by Mina Torres, and a double by Marlene Atilano. Isabella Leon pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Norwalk 16u All Stars. The reliever surrendered one hit and zero runs while, striking out two and walking none.
