Trumbull, CT — Game 2, the Timberwolves were led by Nina at the plate, who was 2 for 2 with a triple, 3 RBIs, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Ariyah also had 2 hits, and added a stolen base, a walk, and 3 runs scored. Ella and Leigha both had a hit, a walk, and 2 RBIs each. Leigha also stole 2 bases and scored twice. Ella scored a run and had a walk. Zoey had a hit, a walk, stole a base, and scored 2 runs. Summer had a hit and an RBI and swung the bat well all day. On the mound, Zoey and Ellie had 3 Ks and both made good defensive plays. At catcher, Ella caught a great game and didn’t let anything past her. Mia L also had a few great plays at short stop, and although her hitting streak came to end, was fearless at the plate. The girls dropped to 4-2-1 in the league and are currently in 6th place, though we are only 1 game behind first place Stamford Red. They earned a well deserved weekend off coming up and will battle the Pomperaug Panthers in 2 weeks.
