Burnsville, MN — Burnsville Blaze Varsity could not keep pace with Park Wolfpack 7-3 on Wednesday at Alimagnet Park. Burnsville Blaze Varsity got on the board in the first inning after John Santelman scored after tagging up. Park Wolfpack jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning after Samuel Nienow singled, Luke Hatano walked, and Dominic Nellessen walked, each scoring one run. Nolan Rolf earned the win for Park Wolfpack. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Jacob Neutz took the loss for Burnsville Blaze Varsity. They went four innings, giving up five runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking four. Darren Einberger provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Burnsville Blaze Varsity with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. John Santelman and Darren Einberger each collected two hits for Burnsville Blaze Varsity. Burnsville Blaze Varsity were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Luke Dam had the most chances in the field with six. Park Wolfpack collected 11 hits in the game.
