Pottsville, PA — POTTSVILLE — The Crimson Tide ran past Jim Thorpe and handed first-year head coach Mike Brennan his first victory as head coach of his alma mater in the team's home opener Friday night under the lights, 48-7. It was a group effort running the football for the Crimson Tide. Juleon Bainbridge rushed for three touchdowns and 129 yards in the first half before Evan Gavalage added on two more touchdown runs in the second half for the blowout win. "Juju (Bainbridge) had a really good night, he's a very physical runner and he's got some giddy up," said Brennan. "Evan (Galavage) is a track kid who runs exceptionally well. He showed his breakaway speed and had some opportunities to make some plays tonight in the run game."
