Bethlehem, PA — It was the one two punch of Danny Fries/Xander Knight on offense and Jake Santiago/Parker Davis on defense that propelled The Avengers to a second win on the day and a #1 seed. Fries and Knight lead the offense each recording 2 hits while Fries also accounted for 3 runs. The defense was solid the entire game recording 0 errors and a highlight diving grab by Myles Casey late in the game to put the nail in the coffin. Santiago went 3.1 innings recording 6 strikeouts while only giving up 2 runs (1 unearned) on 3 hits and 1 walk. Davis came in and went the rest of the way with a perfect stat line of 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, and 5 strikeouts. The Avengers do take the #1 seed into Sunday and trip to the Championship game at 12:10pm at Saucon Park.
