The Zee-Bees tied the game in the top of the sixth thanks to an error, a single by Brayden Duran, a single by Jack Marabella, a single by Gonzalez, a sacrifice fly by Jake Mitchell, and a single by Dominic Diliberti. Hoffman Estates Varsity Hawks took the lead for good 16-13 in the bottom of the 6th. Sam Villarreal took the loss the Bees. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits, striking out two and walking one. Andrew Mitchell led things off on the hill for the Bees. The right-handed pitcher gave up 10 hits and 10 runs (six earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking one. Zion-Benton Varsity Zee-Bees accumulated 15 hits in the game. AJ Neargarder, Dominik Leith, Diliberti, Rafael Villalobos Jr., and Duran each collected multiple hits for Zion-Benton Varsity Zee-Bees. This loss ends the 2024 season for the Zee-Bees.
