Hughestown, PA — Pittston Area Varsity Pats beat Carbondalê today 10-0 in their game opener. Pats opened up the game in the 3rd inning scoring 7 runs !!! Silvio Giardina & Dom Innamorati led the offense with 2 hits each. They both had a double , RBI and scored 2x Drew DeLucca & Gavin Wardecki each had a hit with 2 RBIs. Wardecki scoring 2x Jacoby Harnen had a double with a RBI and run scored. Beau Widdick also had a hit and RBI. Elijah Meade & Rich Tonte contributed with a hit and run each TJ Johnson was winning pitcher for the Pats allowing only 1 hit while striking out 4. Harnen took the save. Pats continue with their 2nd of 3 games this week on Wed afternoon at home.
