Fowler, MI — The Lady Dawgs recorded one win and one loss in the Fowler Invitational Saturday. Ionia fell to the eventual champions Fowler 16-0 in game 1, but rallied to defeat East Lansing 15-11 in game 2. The Lady Dawgs were led by Allyson Schmid, Kaidence Thomas, Kam Perry, Allyson Strasser, and Lauryn Schmid who all recorded multiple hits in the tournament. Ionia is now 5-14 on the season, and will host Okemos on Tuesday.
