Allentown, PA — Despite a six-run deficit, the Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers attempted a comeback, but ultimately fell short to Parkland at PHS losing 7-5. Parkland scored two in the bottom of the first and extended its lead in the third. Easton finally got on the board in the sixth and again four times in the seventh only to fall short in the end. Deegan Keller took the loss for the JV Rovers. The sophomore went three innings, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out two. Zach Wagner and Winston Hornik made relief appearances. The Easton defense was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error in the field. Parkland slugged 12 hits on the day. After two road games this week, the JV Rovers return home Friday to take on the East Stroudsburg North JVs at Richards field. Game time 4pm.
