Northampton, PA — Easton Area JV fell to Northampton 10-9 on a chilly Thursday afternoon at NAHS. The game winning score was plated on a walk-off sac fly in the bottom of the 7th inning. The JV Rovers got out to an early lead scoring 5 in the first. Northampton rallied from a 6-2 deficit to score seven runs in the bottom of the 5th on Rover errors. Northampton took a 9-6 lead into the last frame, when Easton rallied to tie the game at 9. Jacob Hackman threw 3 and a third solid innings for the rovers. Dom Crisci came in to get out of a bases loaded jam in the 4th. Winston Hornik took the loss in relief. Easton Area JV plays Abington Heights on Saturday, pending weather.
