Los Alamitos, CA — This started out as a tight contest. After coming our flat to start the match the team rallied strong and came away with an easy victory. What started as a not so certain match with Los Al staying even with Mater Dei 3-3 after 1 round also looked like a long afternoon for the Monarchs. But with a sweep of doubles in the second round and with the singles performing solid again Mater Dei was able to take the second round by the score of 5-1. After that Mater Dei was able to cruise to a 4-2 third round advantage and an over all 12-6 victory. The Lady Monarchs are now 4-0 going into next weeks match against top ranked CDM.
