Los Alamitos, CA — The Mater Dei Girl’s singles started off playing well. Grace lost a tough match to Lauren Nguyen from Los Alamitos. Grace won 6-1, 6-1 in her other two matches. Natasha won 6-1, 6-1 and Caitlin played hard and won 2 of her singles matches. In the doubles Melanie and Vanessa had the lead and then Los Alamitos team came back to tie the match up. Melanie and Vanessa tried to close it out but lost a close match against the number 1 team. Melanie and Vanessa played well the next two matches with two wins for Mater Dei. At line 2 Maddy played with Lexi and won. Maddy played the third match with Ava and won. At line three Ainslee and Marissa won a very close tie breaker against two players that loved to lob. Lauren came in to play singles against Los Alamitos player, Lauren and had some great points.
