San Bernardino, CA — Miller Varsity Rebels were triumphant over
San Bernardino 6-1 on Tuesday.
Miller Varsity Rebels got on the board in the top of the first inning after Liam Good laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Izaiah Ramos doubled, each scoring one run.
Miller Varsity Rebels added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after San Bernardino committed an error, Gabe Mendez singled, and Elian Salas singled, each scoring one run.
Ilya Ridge earned the win for Miller Varsity Rebels. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking three. Aiden Zuno took the loss for San Bernardino. They went six innings, surrendering six runs (two earned) on 11 hits, striking out six and walking four.
