Mountaineers Down the Clifton Mustangs

Clifton, NJ — Today the Mountaineers took care of business in a big way. Jumping out to a commanding 14-1 lead at haltime and never looking back is a sign of a team that plays together. The fact that 6 players scored multiple goals shows the chemistry being devloped with in the program and the direction we are trying to go in. Reid Tenzer dominated the field today as he not only had 4 goals he also had 4 assists and 5 ground balls to his credit. This effort set the tone for the entire first half and we will look to continue with that next week.

Reid Tenzer

Last week we challenged Reid to "be like Mike" and not only be a great player but to also elevate the level of play of his teammates. Today Reid played like "MJ", as he scored 4 goals and had 4 assists to account for half of our total offensive output against Clifton. He also followed that up with 5 ground balls to his credit , to demonstrate his willingness to get "down and dirty"

Tyrone Blount

FACE OFF MAN ! Tyrone is slowly becoming a force to be dealt with as he won another amazing 85 percent of his face offs today. The biggest joy was watching him make his first assist of the season. He also had a team tying 7 ground balls to his credit.

Ryan Kaesshaefer

Playing primarily LSM, Ryan set the tone early and often defensively with 7 ground balls to his credit and his ability to get the ball to the offense in transition was critical today.

Remy Frolow

Once again Remy was the second leading point production player on the team,with 2 goals and and assist to his credit. Remy plays a unique brand of Lacrosse with gives him an advatage when he get moving , and today he was moving.
