Galesburg, IL — Streaks advance with a 69-45 win over #13 Richwoods at Thiel Gym. So many players stepped up. Kiarra Kilgore, Alexis Edgerson, Antonia Kisler, and Joz Kilgore had big scoring nights. Kiarra and Ella Herchenroder combined for 10 assists. Then Syriah Boyd, Antonia, and Joz not only played great post defense, but between them had a total of 25 rebounds, to go with Kiarra’s 12 rebounds. As expected our Galesburg crowd was big and loud. When the Streaks went on a roll at the end of the second quarter, Thiel was as loud as it has ever been!! Next up is the #2 state ranked Morton Potters on Thursday at 7pm in Thiel for the Regional Championship. We had a good crowd Monday night but we know Galesburg can do much better.
