West Bend, WI — Maiya Tearney fanned nine, allowing six hits and one walk, as the Spartans improved to 9-2 on the season and 8-1 in North Shore Conference Play. Paige Guse drove in a run in the first inning and another in a two-run third. Mackenzeie Rolf also drove in a run in the third. Nursing a 3-1 lead into the sixth, the Spartans got two-out RBI singles from Karissa Jenz and Mia Buske. Buske, Ava Thelen and Breleigh Ustruck had two hits each for the Spartans.
