Haslett, MI — The Ionia Varsity Softball Team picked up the split against Haslett 11-0 and 7-6. The second game was highlighted by a 3 run walk off home run by senior Allyson Strasser in the bottom of the 7th inning!!! Ionia also got major offensive contributions from Kaidence Thomas, Emma White and Allyson Schmid in the double header. Additionally, the Lady Dawgs got a massive pitching performance from Bella Delgado, who threw 6 innings and struck out 6 batters. The Lady Dawgs are now 1-5 on the season and will play Eaton Rapids at home on Friday April 19th.
