Metuchen, NJ — The SMS Boys Blue Basketball team improved to 9-1 on the season on Wednesday as they kept the Metuchen Bulldogs at an arm's length for a 77-50 road win. Coach Donegan challenged his team pre-game by stating "Find me a great player that doesn't get to the free throw line. They don't exist." The whole team answered the call and was led by 8th grade co-captain Jason Berescky who delivered a signature performance. Jason scored a season high 31 points on relentless drives to the paint that led to a middle school record 17 free throw attempts.
